Craigslist used as malware delivery method

Over the last several days, an ad for an “18ft 98 procraft 180bass boat w/ trailer – $2400” has been placed on Craigslist in numerous cities across the country.  The post contains no pictures of the boat but conveniently provides a link for pics. Not surprisingly, Websense has categorized the link’s site as containing malware.

The take away from this? Don’t click on links you find in Cragslist postings.  Also, if you’re posting, use the Craigslist facility to post pictures and don’t embed links. We don’t want to encourage unsafe behavior.
