Adobe on the Patch Path, again.

Adobe has released a critical patch fixing a security hole in Reader and Acrobat. This weakness was first detected in March with a Flash exploit. The weakness in Flash is also present in Reader, Acrobat and AIR. Adobe issued a patch for Flash on 4/11, bringing the current version of Flash to 10.2.153.1 (Chrome 10.2.154.25). Today they are releasing the remaining patches, Adobe Reader X for Mac goes to 10.0.3 and for those still using the 9 series Reader, Windows or Mac, it goes to 9.4.4.

Because Adobe feels their Reader X Protected Mode prevents exploits of this type they will not be addressing the issues in Reader X for Windows until the next quarterly security update scheduled for June.
