Adobe patches are available to fix vulnerabilities discovered last week. These weaknesses are in both Adobe’s Flash Player and Reader / Acrobat offerings.
Here’s what’s needed: – For Flash: Go to this site in your browser. http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and get the update. If you have more than one browser on your computer you may need to go to each one and do the update. Why do you have to do it in each of your browsers? Internet Explorer handles updates one way, Firefox / Opera another and Chrome yet another. The good news on Chrome is, it’s already patched. Google and Adobe have a deal where Adobe gives Google advanced access to bug fixes.
If you have a rarely used, extra browser on your computer it would be a good idea to remove it rather than continue to keep it current.
For Reader and Acrobat, open the app and go to Help | Check for Updates
